Madison Children's Museum / Capitol Square
Handphibians are performing at SummerPalooza again!
Celebrate the start of summer with a bang at the Madison Children’s Museum’s 11th annual SummerPalooza! This free family celebration is set against the picturesque backdrop of Capitol Square and promises a day full of fun, learning, and entertainment.
Kick off your summer with free admission to the museum from 9 am to 4 pm.
Explore interactive exhibits, including the brand new Nice Age Trail, where you can “take a walk in their paws” through an engaging nature exhibit. It’s a fantastic way to connect with the natural world and spark children’s curiosity about the animals that roamed our lands during the ice age.
Don’t miss the thrilling lineup of live performances at the Rotary Plaza Stage—we’ll be getting things rolling at 9:00 am!
Throughout the day, enjoy a variety of guest programs and hands-on activities designed for all ages.
SummerPalooza is more than just a festival; it’s a community gathering that brings families together to celebrate the joy of summer with educational experiences and exhilarating performances.
Bring your family, meet your friends, and enjoy a day with us full of memories at one of Madison’s most beloved annual events!
