Fête de Marquette 2026 (“Handschool” drummers!)

We’re bringing the drums to the dance floor! Join the adult drumming students of The Handphibians “Handschool” and Ótimo Dance at Saturday’s opening of Fête de Marquette (~1:30pm) for a mini set of Brazilian percussion and movement, right in the heart of Madison’s east side.

This free outdoor festival is one of Madison’s most beloved summer traditions. It’s filled with live music, amazing food, cold drinks, and a true neighborhood vibe. Hosted by Wil-Mar Neighborhood Center, Fête celebrates local culture and global sounds with a lineup that spans continents and genres.
