Held at the historic Donald Farm, this festival promises a weekend full of music, dance, food, drink, and more. Let your imagination run wild as we come together to celebrate community, creativity, and a bit of mischief.

Festival Highlights:

Music

De La Buena

Based out of Milwaukee, this powerful 10-piece band has been electrifying audiences with their own brand of Afro-Cuban music and funky Latin jazz. They respect traditions while infusing sophisticated, psychedelic sensibilities into an expansive, aggressive framework that will have you dancing all night.

Cycropia Aerial Dance

Madison’s own Cycropia combines modern dance, athleticism, and the magic of defying gravity using single-point trapeze, bungee, lyra, aerial fabric, and custom steel apparatus. Founded in 1989, Cycropia is one of the oldest continuously-operating aerial dance troupes in the United States.

Panchromatic Steel

This Madison-based band fuses island styles with pop hits, rock, and jazz into a high-energy blend that’s easy to love. Their sound is centered around the steel drum, producing melodies that will transport you to the Caribbean while pushing musical boundaries.

The Handphibians

Dedicated to Brazilian-style percussion, we’re a Madison-based group who bring high-energy rhythms to festivals, parades, and stage performances. Our lively procession and infectious beats were a highlight at Burning Troll last year, and we’re back to bring even more fun in 2024!

The Earthlings

Blending electronic, sonic rock with psychedelic indie and euphoric space vibes, this Madison-based collective brings positive vibrations reminiscent of the 60s, early 70s, and 90s.

Tani Diakite and the Afrofunkstars

Tani’s Kamale n’goni and soulful singing, combined with his crew of Afrofunkstars, will fill the festival with West African grooves and deep blues.

Ladies Must Swing

This 18-piece big band from Madison will get you swinging with their range of danceable classics, played with and without vocals.

Old Oaks

Frank Laufenberg’s acoustic trio from Mount Horeb performs folk-jazz originals and classic tunes, creating a melodic and intimate atmosphere.

The Dephlogisticator

This Madison-based fire spinning group dazzles with performances using fire, LED, and custom-made equipment. They also emphasize education and safety, aiming to grow the local fire spinning community.

Aerial Dance

Marvel at the stunning performances of Cycropia as they soar through the air with grace and athleticism.

Food and Drink

Savor farm-to-table dishes and craft ciders from Brix Cider, all made with locally grown ingredients.

Camping

Spend the night under the stars with on-site camping available.

Prairie Walk

Explore the beautiful landscapes with prairie walks.

Sculpture Garden

Discover imaginative sculptures scattered throughout the prairie.

Fire Spinning
